Ever wondered why, even after asking yourself the question " Why can't I lose fat' many times, you are still unable to come up with any definitive answers? Well, the fact remains that asking "why" will often lead you astray - it leads to indefinite or incorrect answers which you are forced to believe. Asking "Why can't I lose weight?" is not going to be of much help to you, since the answer you will get will probably be false and misleading. Instead try asking yourself "How can I lose fat?" There is a difference of heaven and hell between the two trains of thought.

Here is why you will never get a correct answer every time you ask yourself "why" - whenever you ask "Why can't I lose fat", your brain tries to help you out by groping for answers, and it tells you that the reason (why) you are not losing weight is because you are eating fatty foods, going to parties and drinking a lot of beer, or living a sedentary life. This is NOT what you want to know! What you need to know instead of "how can you lose weight", or "what can you do to lose weight". As you can see, as soon as you change the perspective from:"why" to "how" or "what", you are starting to get some definitive solutions! Stop asking yourself "Why am I so fat"; instead, ask yourself "How can I lose thirty pounds by the end of the year?"

Think positive and you will get positive results. It is not incorrect to say that positive affirmations have an excellent effect on weight loss - it helps the person to believe in himself and work harder to burn more fat. So, instead of telling yourself "I'll never be able to stop eating meat", say "What can I do to cut down on my meat intake?" Instead of hating your fat tummy, ask yourself what exercises you can opt for in order to reduce your belly fat. Think positive and creative. Once you start thinking positive, you will get positive answers. Then, losing weight won't seem to be as hard as it does now!

I sincerely hope that this article helps throw some light on the importance of positive thinking on weight loss, and how the two go hand in hand.
